Music Ensemble Auditions
The Music Department holds open auditions during CU S.O.A.R. and the first days of the semester:
- Choir and Handbells: Students sign up for ensemble placement auditions in the CU Center lobby when they arrive on campus. These auditions take place during CU S.O.A.R.
- Band/Orchestra/Jazz: please email [email protected] and let us know your instrument (open rehearsals will be held during the first week of classes for all who are interested)
- Worship Band: please email [email protected] and let us know your instrument (auditions are held the weekend after the first week of classes)
- Other inquiries about music participation: please send your questions to [email protected]
Music ensembles at Concordia keep active performance schedules on and off campus (including tours such as Donne di Canto and Men's Chorus to Austria in May 2016). We welcome all students with high school performance experience. Non-music majors comprise the majority of our ensembles. Please consider participating!
