What: CUI Night of Hope

Night of Hope (NOH) is an annual student run benefit concert held at Concordia University Irvine. The bands that will be playing this year are Hestyn and City of Lions.

The organization that will be sponsored this year is Heavenly Treasures. Since 1998, Heavenly Treasures have worked hard to assist refugees, single mothers, widows, the physically disabled, women & children rescued from human trafficking, orphans, the disenfranchised, and many others. The student body chose Heavenly Treasures because it is a Christ-centered organization that does so much more than meet the physical needs of the people they help. Heavenly Treasures works to alleviate poverty, raise local leaders and bring the gospel to people around the world.

When: Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 6-9 PM

Where: CUI Amphitheater

Concordia University Irvine; 1530 Concordia West, Irvine, CA 92612.

Who: Night of Hope was conceived by students and remains student-run today. Senior Mariah Nelson is the director of the Night of Hope planning committee this year and many other student bring varied talents and skills together to put on this concert.

Why: The purpose of Night of Hope is three-fold: it is a night of the arts to bring hope to the attendees, to raise awareness for the organization being sponsored that night, and finally raise funds that will bring hope to individuals all around the globe.
